Enjoy 2 full days of guided birding with Eastern Ontario Birding naturalist Jon Ruddy. The Rideau Lakes is a popular stop for migrating waterfowl on the Atlantic flyway. The lakes are teaming with bait fish that attracts both waterfowl and raptors throughout the fall and early in spring when the ice breaks. The area is also know for numerous smaller species like vireos, warblers and wrens who breed here in the spring.
Price includes 2 full 8 hour days of birding guided by Jon Ruddy of Eastern Ontario Birding, a local expert in the natural landscape and wildlife; 2 packed lunches, snacks and beverages for your days outing. Local restaurants can provide you with dinner and evening entertainment.
Please note that the price for this guided tour is per person. For double occupancy you need to book 2 birding packages if you both intend to join the tour.
